How do I renew my account?

To renew your hosting account or domain, you should go to https://www.34sp.com/login
You should use the registered email address, and password to log in.

I've forgotton my login details, what are they?

If you have forgotten your password, you can have it resent to the registered email address by filling out the forgotten password field in the account management login page.

If you have also forgotten the registered email address, then you can have the details re-sent to the registered address, by filling out the forgotten email field in the Account Management login page.

Can I have multiple domains pointing at my site?

A standard 34SP.com hosting account can support one domain fully (www, ftp and email).

We can point further domains to the account (including sub-directories of the account) at a price of £5 per domain per year. With this standard domain pointer a catch all email address can be provided to forward mail to one address as well.

If the domain needs email support we can set up the pointer with a maximum of 5 POP3 mailboxes at £7.50 per year.

Domains are pointed using one of two methods (standard or frame forwarding). Using standard forwarding the pointed domain will resolve to the underlying address - the user of your site will see that the domain is pointed.

Using frame forwarding the pointed domain will be retained in the the browser address bar and the user will not know the domain is pointed. The drawback of this technique however is that search engines will not be able to index the pointed domain.

To purchase a domain pointer, you simply need to upgrade your account to support the domain pointer.

How do I upgrade my site?

If you have a Personal hosting account, you can easily upgrade your account online, by simply loging in to your account management page, located at: https://www.34sp.com/login
Here you should enter your registered email address and account password in the fields provided. Your registered email address is the email address you select when you purchased the account.

Once the account management page has loaded select you should see your hosting account(s) listed. Select the 'more' option opposite the account you wish to upgrade. When the page reloads, you should see an upgrade link to the right of your domain name. Selecting this link will take you to the upgrade screen.

Why can't I send email from my account?

Personal hosting accounts do not come with SMTP. To be able to send mail, you have 4 options. Upgrade your account with the SMTP feature. The cost is £15 per year and upgrade billed pro-rata, or Use the webmail facility we provide with your account (webmail.yoursitename), or Upgrade to a business hosting account or 34SPlus account – these both come with SMTP as standard (http://www.34sp.com/hosting), or Use the SMTP server provided by your ISP.

I can't log in to siteadmin.

If you have multiple accounts on the same server, then the siteadmin login details will be the same for those accounts. The details will be those of the first account you had on that server.

To make any changes to the account, you must use the main username and password, rather than an email address to login.
