Beaches

In Dubai there are countless beaches to choose from. The public beaches usually have limited facilities but no entrance charge, the beach parks charge for entrance but have facilities such as changing rooms and play areas.

Take a visit to the lagoon at Al Mamzar which has chalets, a roped off pool and jet skis for hire. In the South the Jumeria Beach Corniche is a popular spot for sun bathing, swimming and people watching. The small beaches are located further South near the Dubai Offshore Sailing Club. There is 10 km expanse near the Jebel Ali Hotel which is a great place for having a barbecue.

There are four beaches, two swimming pools with Lifeguard patrols and lots of open green spaces. The changing facilities are located in the sheltered areas of the park and  there are kiosks selling food and other supplies you may have left at home.

 

Jumeria Beach Park
Jumeirah Beach Club, Jumeriah
Tel: 349 2555

This is a beautiful park with sapphire waters, palm trees and a long narrow shady stretch of beach with lots of grass areas. Lifeguards patrol the beach between 08:00 to sunset.
