History

From the deeds we found that the house was built around 1930. From an old postcard you can view how our lane must have looked just before worldwar II. From our property one can only see the gate as ours is the end of terrace on the right.

Like then it is today still surrounded from three sides by paddocks: those from the rrear and on the right hand side are owned by the local church and the one opposite of our house by one of the local farmers.

Attempts to destroy the local character have till today been successfully warded off by the local parish council and the people of Salford.
